Dr. Kennedy went to medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed her family medicine residency at Rose Hospital in Denver. CO. She has been in practice since 2005 and prides herself on compassionate care. Dr. Kennedy now offers more direct access and personal service to patients that want or need more help through her Signature MD program. She lives in the Highlands with her husband and two daughters.
Kayla, a native to Denver, feels so lucky to work here and is excited to serve this community. She completed her schooling at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Before going back to school she worked years as an athletic trainer in the Denver Public Schools. Kayla has spent a lot of time abroad and loves to continue to explore the world any chance she gets. While she is not working Kayla is spending time with her husband and little girl, soon to be girls! As a family we really enjoy being outside, whether it be paddle boarding, bike riding or hiking in the summer or snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter.

This clinic has been serving patients in the Denver area since 2008. Dr. Kennedy is accompanied by 3 excellent physician assistants Kayla Roehling PA-C, Kristen Lervik PA-C and Hilary Weingarth, PA-C.

Kristen Lervik, PA-C is a Family Medicine Physician Assistant at Highlands Health for Life. She graduated from The University of Kansas in Lawrence KS with a degree in Psychology. After completing her undergraduate degree, Kristen moved to Denver, CO and started working at The University of Colorado-Anschutz Medical Campus as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Neurology. In 2018, Kristen graduated from South College in Knoxville, TN with her Master's degree as a Physician Assistant. She has been practicing at Highlands Health for Life and is committed to provide quality, effective healthcare. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, biking and attending concerts with her husbands and friends.
Hilary Weingarth is a Family Medicine Physician Assistant who obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After obtaining her degree, she worked in a psychiatric hospital for two years, providing internal medicine and primary care services to her patients. She lived in Wisconsin all her life up until she relocated to Colorado in 2019. She has a passion for preventative medicine and has a special interest in mental health. When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys mountain biking, camping and hiking in the mountains with her dog, Roscoe.
